Early Intervention

Serving children, birth through 2 years.

Early Intervention Services focus on our little ones... children ages two and under who have been diagnosed with a developmental disability or delay. This program provides a vital beginning to a child's developmental progress. The earlier we can reach a child with a disability, the more promising his or her future.

Services are normally provided in the home or at United Services. Parents are taught how to focus and stimulate their infant's learning through sensory exercises, games and activities. Our early intervention specialists work with the child and family as a team member to develop a comprehensive strategy to assess the child's strengths and needs.

Funding for this program is received from the United Way and the Developmental Disabilities Resource Board.
