Oct. 27, 2014: Hackers took down the United Services for Children website for several hours on Friday, Oct. 24. All updates since June 2014 were lost. As a result, some information on the website might be out of date. We are working to rebuild the site and bring the content up to date as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience.
The hackers did not access any personal data. United Servcies does not store clients' personal information on this site. There are no client passwords, student records, SSNs, etc., so there is nothing for hackers to access. All tuition payments and donations are handled through a separate electonic system operated by a different company. The only data on this website are the text and photos viewable by the public.
There is no way to make a website completely invulnerable to hackers. But we have taken steps to increase security protocols and make it more difficult for hackers to disrupt web service.
If you experience any difficulties using this site, or have any questions, please email Raymond Castile, United Services marketing director. Thank you.
